We got a call this week from the home builders saying that the kitchen/bathroom cabinets color have been discontinued immediately so LouAnna ran to the model home and picked from the last two remaining colors (a honey oak color and a dark color that's almost black). We went with the dark cabinets to contrast the white'ish countertops and light wood floor color. The new color is Sarsaparilla.
We just got back from a weekend away at a lake in Michigan and went to "the Lot" to see if anything new happened in the last week. We were so surprised to drive up and have cinder blocks and utilities!! Next up is inspection and pouring the cement slab! About 8 (of the 10) other houses are also at this stage, as well. How fun?!! Chris is standing at the kitchen island! Aren't we ador-k-able?!
This week, they laid the gravel down so their trucks don't sink into the mud! We parked on the gravel. First time parking in our future driveway. We love progress!
